The Department of Civil Engineering is associated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and offers a four-year B.Tech programme and a two-year M.tech programme. Civil Engineering plays a key role in developing other fields of Engineering. The department started in the year 2009. The course is intended to satisfy the needs of contemporary civil engineers in the fields of irrigation engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, zero carbon building, structural engineering, and construction technology. In addition, the students receive training in the analysis, design, and modelling of intricate structures as well as other civil engineer tasks. The committed, knowledgeable, and experienced faculty members that assist students with activities like technical seminars, technical quiz, skills, and special lectures on modern topics, paper presentations, and aptitude tests are the department’s greatest asset.
